Regional Rail Center Trenton has some of the best rail connections of any city on the east coast. NJ Transit (NYC and Newark), Amtrak (Boston-Washington), and SEPTA (Philly) all serve the newly renovated train station, which is 7/10 and 9/10 of a mile distant from Everett Corner and the Cracker Factory, respectively. The walk is largely through residential neighborhoods. Scroll down to view a map showing how to walk to the train station from Trenton Ferry. NJ Transit's service to NYC is superb. There are over 50 trains in each direction on a typical weekday. The earliest train to NYC leaves before 4 AM, and the last train back to Trenton is 1:41 AM. Express trains take just over an hour. There is also rail service direct to both Newark Liberty Airport and Philadelphia International Airport. |

Other Transit Options The River Line's Hamilton Avenue Station is only about 1/2 mile from the Cracker Factory, and 4/10 from Everett Corner. This serves many towns in the lower Delaware Valley, and connects in Camden to the PATCO High Speed line into Old-Town and Centre City Philly. It's a convenient and very inexpensive way to commute to Philly. NJ Transi'ts #607 bus travels down Centre Street, with stops convenient to both Everett Corner and the Cracker Factory. It connects Hamilton, Trenton, and Ewing. |

Regional Road Hub Trenton is well served by roads, easily connecting via US-1 and SR-29/129 to Interstates 95, 195, and 295, the New Jersey Turnpike, and the Garden State Parkway. Access to these roads from Trenton Ferry is extremely convenient. You can be on SR-129, connecting to US-1, I-195, or the Turnpike, in less than a minute. Some of the loveliest white sand beaches in NJ are less than 45 minutes away via a road(I-195) that is rarely crowded, even on a hot weekend. Old City Philly is 35 minutes by car. The theatre district of NYC, if you hit traffic right, is only 1:15. Baltimore is about 2.5 hours, and Washington about 3.5. Newark Liberty Airport is reliably less than an hour away, even during rush hour. Philadelphia International Airport is about 45 minutes during off peak times, and a little over an hour at rush hour, via I-95. |
